I love this time of year! The snow is almost gone, we saw our first swallows fly through the yard the other day, and the flowers are going to come out soon. If you’ve followed me for a bit you know I love walking through the forest in the spring and find all the different blooms. To celebrate I put together two coloring pages, featuring two of my favorite orchids from the McCarthy area, the Calypso Orchid who will be gracing us soon with pink clusters in the forest; and the Mountain Lady Slipper, which is much less common but quite stunning.
You can download and print your own coloring sheets for free below, or you can buy them from my Etsy shop (the $2 supports my work). I hope to keep this series going as spring progresses. Let me know if you have a favorite flower you would like to see.
I hope you have fun with these. Please let me know what you end up doing with them.
If you are looking for more things to do during quarantine, I also added greeting card packs to my Etsy shop. You can get a surprise pack of ten cards, postcards, and fun letter supplies for $15. If we can’t see each other in person safely we can at least send mail. I’ll have more sketching videos on my YouTube channel soon.
